Floodland
Marcus Sedgwick
The sea has risen and much of England is underwater, and Zoe is left behind on the shrinking island that was once Norwich when her parents are rescued without her. Alone, she mends an old rowing boat and sets out across the water to find them, but the first island she reaches is ruled by a strange and frightening boy.
