For tutors

The marking is done before the lesson starts

Your students read and write between lessons, and every answer is marked against a rubric for their year. You arrive knowing what each of them needs, and spend the hour teaching it.

  • Every student on one page

Who is on track, who is behind with their reading, and the skill each student is weakest on, with the detail one click away.

  • Set the reading

Suggest a book or require it, with a date to finish by. While you are setting the work, a parent's assignments wait, so a student never gets two sets of instructions.

  • Write your own exercises

Set any of the eight kinds of writing from the library, or write a task of your own for one student. It is marked on the rubric for that kind of writing.

  • Keep the final say

Change any score with a comment the student sees. The AI's mark is kept alongside yours, and a parent cannot overrule you.

Getting a tutor account

We open tutor accounts ourselves while we are small, so we can help you set up your students. Once you have one, each student’s parent links you from their own account, and you see that student’s work from then on.

Email a.hmeid@gmail.com to ask for one.
